Join Jacobs as an Advanced Facilities Design Architect. In this role, you will collaborate with the Advanced Facilities group in Pittsburgh, PA, to drive business development, engage clients, and maintain high design standards. You'll engage in various phases of design from conceptual layouts to detailed models. Your expertise will also help mentor junior team members as you provide high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design and Analysis: Execute all aspects of architectural design, applying judgment and architectural techniques effectively.Attention to Detail: Ensure quality control by meticulously reviewing your work and the work of others.Workload Management: Take ownership of your assignments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.Leadership Development: Mentor and guide less experienced team members while exploring innovative workflows and technologies.Project Leadership: Lead design teams on specific projects, manage design deliverables, and facilitate inter-disciplinary collaboration.Bring your creativity and commitment to excellence, and we will support your professional growth as you help us create extraordinary solutions for the future.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.Active Professional Architecture license in the U.S.10 to 15 years of architectural experience.Proficient in Revit and familiar with building codes and specifications.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Architect license.Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and Navisworks.Background in semiconductor, life sciences, or mission-critical facilities.Ability to travel when necessary.Experience in managing personnel and directing team activities.Knowledge of sustainability practices and emerging technologies.LEED Accreditation is a plus.Posted Salary Range: Minimum $102,900.00 | Maximum $141,500.00. Your compensation will be determined based on your geographical location, experience, and other relevant factors.
