Job Title: AI Architect

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Local or nearby candidates only)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite twice a month

Rate: $60/hr. on W2 (OR) $70/hr. C2C(own corp)/1099

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise AI solutions for a leading insurance client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions.

The AI Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to define AI strategies, build AI frameworks, and drive the adoption of AI capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.Develop AI strategy, roadmaps, and implementation plans for enterprise use cases.Lead the architecture and integration of generative AI, machine learning, and automation solutions.Collaborate with data engineering, application development, and business teams to deliver AI-powered applications.Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms to recommend best-fit solutions.Define architecture patterns, governance standards, and best practices for AI implementations.Support development teams with technical guidance and solution design.Ensure AI solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, compliance, and performance.Work with cloud platforms and AI services to deploy production-grade solutions.Provide technical leadership throughout the AI solution lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technology architecture, AI/ML engineering, or related roles.Strong experience designing enterprise AI and machine learning solutions.Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI application architectures.Experience with AI/ML frameworks and technologies such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.Strong understanding of data architecture, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.Experience working with enterprise clients and large-scale technology environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the insurance or financial services domain.Experience with enterprise transformation initiatives.Experience implementing AI solutions in regulated industries.Work Location Requirements

Candidates must be local to Philadelphia, PA or nearby areas.Must be available for onsite meetings twice per month.
