Job Description

Position Summary

Join us as a hands-on technical leader focused on revolutionizing our Approvals platform. In this role, you will replace outdated business process management (BPM) systems with intelligent workflows driven by cutting-edge large language models (LLMs). You will have ownership over designing and developing the prompting infrastructure, orchestration layers, multi-agent systems, and fine-tuning pipelines, while also empowering our engineering teams to adopt these innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architectural shift from traditional BPM to advanced, LLM-powered approval workflows by defining a long-term vision and driving execution. Design, build, and manage the prompting layer and orchestration infrastructure utilizing foundation models, including RAG pipelines, context injection, multi-agent coordination, and human-in-the-loop escalation strategies. Conduct hands-on fine-tuning efforts, weighing options like LoRA, PEFT, instruction tuning, and RLHF, while staying abreast of the latest fine-tuning techniques. Establish LLMOps practices to ensure production reliability, observability, and drift detection. Diagnose and troubleshoot production challenges in LLM-powered systems; collaborate directly with teams to develop documentation and improve engineering capabilities. Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to outline and prioritize the roadmap for agentic BPM transformations. Required Qualifications

4-5+ years of hands-on machine learning expertise in production settings; direct coding skills are essential. Demonstrated experience creating prompting layers and orchestration systems on top of foundation models. Proven history of deploying LLM-based systems in production. Advanced knowledge of LLM fine-tuning methods and design of agentic systems. Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in modernizing or replacing BPM systems with AI-driven solutions. Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration frameworks. Background in enterprise workflow automation or approvals. Comfort with cloud-native ML infrastructure. Responsibilities

As part of the software engineering division, you will actively participate in refining and evolving our standard practices and procedures. You will contribute to product directives and help define project specifications, while also providing consultative software guidance for the development, design, and troubleshooting of software applications.
