What You'll do:Groundswell is looking for experiencedtechnical Appian consultantsto provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisors to our clients. Architects help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.Key Responsibilities: Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical successWork with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystemsGuide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologiesEnsure solutions are built for scale and performanceIntegrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configurationEvaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementationsCreate and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablementProvide thought leadership on process improvementSupport internal solutions, infrastructure, and toolsMentorship, training, and enablement of resourcesRequired Qualifications:6+ years of experience with Appian solutions6+ years of related IT experienceBachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related areaActive Appian Lead CertificationStrong experience with Agile deliveryStrong technical implementation skillsStrong database design and development skillsExperience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testingExperience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processesExperience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deploymentsExperience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniquesStrong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresightStrong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude")Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro areaMust be able to obtain and maintain federal government security clearance. U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) is required for clearance purposes. Active Secret clearance or higher preferred.
