Core Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility outside core hours)

Compensation Range: $80,000 – $120,000

Overview / Job Description

A well‑established architecture and design firm is seeking an experienced Architect with 8+ years of industry experience to lead architectural design and project execution efforts. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with clients and consultants, and delivering high‑quality, compliant design solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

Projects span educational, municipal, state, federal, financial, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading projects from concept through construction administration and is interested in mentoring junior architects in a collaborative, smaller‑firm environment.

An active architectural license is strongly preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage 3–10 architectural projects simultaneously from initial concept through construction administrationDevelop and present design concepts that align with client goals, budgets, and schedulesCoordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and applicable standardsOversee project documentation, schedules, and quality controlFoster strong client relationships through clear communication and effective project managementMentor and support AITs and junior architects

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of professional experience in an architectural firmAccredited professional degree in ArchitectureProficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience leading architectural design projects and managing timelines and budgetsStrong presentation and client‑facing communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyWillingness to mentor and support junior team members
