Position Responsibilities*** • Lead project development and project teams from inception to completion • Direct the architectural team, and as necessary integrate engineering teams on projects of varying scale and budget • Knowledge of jurisdictional and project specific requirements including building codes, sustainability and energy requirements • Lead project documentation efforts with a deep knowledge of contract documents, specifications, shop-drawings, and submittal review • Be able to delegate, monitor progress, and conduct QA/QC coordination of contract documents • Have relevant experience in construction observation and construction administration, and understand construction costs, budgeting, and value engineering • Be motivated and self-reliant, maintaining collaborative working relationships and assisting with the development of emerging professionals • Have strong technical proficiency including experience in working in the following platforms: SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite • Organize and lead meetings involving internal & external clients/partners related to architectural development • Review contractor questions, RFI, and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and design solutions • Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews.
