Architect

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architect to join our design team, bringing visionary ideas to life through meticulous planning and execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring functional, aesthetic, and sustainable solutions. Duties

Hold an Active Architects license for the State of Oregon
Drawing Signing and Stamping
Lead the development of architectural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed drawings and visualizations.
Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of phases while coordinating with clients and team members.
Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets by collaborating with estimators and contractors.
Oversee construction management activities including site visits, quality control, and adherence to safety standards during renovation or new build projects.
Utilize Bluebeam for digital markup and document management throughout the project lifecycle.
Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining project integrity.
Develop comprehensive project proposals for business development opportunities to expand the firm’s portfolio.
Coordinate with project teams on construction estimating, budgeting, and scheduling to optimize resources effectively.
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations during all phases of design and construction.
Foster strong relationships with clients through clear communication, presentations, and regular updates on project progress.

Experience

Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both commercial and residential projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam, NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination.
Solid understanding of construction processes including renovation projects and interior design integration.
Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, construction estimating, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental sustainability practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $79,007.85 - $95,149.24 per year
