Your role Take on greater independence in managing coordination, technical documentation, and consultant communicationContribute to design leadership, oversee portions of project delivery, and mentor less experienced teammatesLead coordination between the project team and consultantsDevelop and manage technical documentation ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intentSupport project managers with scheduling, deliverables, and milestone planningResolve technical and design challenges; propose innovative yet constructible solutionsOversee sections of specifications and contribute to project manual developmentConduct site visits; lead submittal review, RFI responses, and construction documentationMentor emerging designers and provide technical guidance. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited programRegistered / Licensed Architect (if you are nearly licensed, feel free to contact [email protected] to determine whether there is another role that is suitable for your background)6–10 years of relevant experience within a commercial design firmStrong proficiency with Revit Experience with Bluebeam, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite is preferredStrong understanding of building codes, standards, and systemsExcellent organization skills and ability to communicate technical details verbally and in writingPassion for design excellence and continuous learningDemonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices; ideally portfolios will include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
