Department: Architecture Location: Des Moines, IA As an employee owner, you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of architects, designers, engineers, and project managers who bring agility, creativity, and purpose to every project. Work directly with clients in all phases of design process – from the initial napkin sketch to opening the front door!Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modificationsDevelop and maintain project budgets, work plans, and contractsCollaborate with other enthusiastic ISGers while leading design efforts to create inspiring and uplifting spaces to live, work, and playCommunicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-disciplinary teamsMaintain the quality control of drawings and specificationsDirect the development and preparation of project contract documentsGet your boots dirty conducting site visits to observe construction progress and respond to any on-site challengesHelp mentor and develop the next generation of designers and architectsWillingness to think bigger, better, and bolder to make a difference in our communities!We’ve listed a compensation range that reflects our expectations for this role, including both direct and indirect components.
