Architect

As a Gensler Architect with our team in Baltimore, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You will collaborate with your teammates to develop design solutions and coordinate design through the construction documentation and administration phases of core and shell and interior architecture projects. Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD + 3-D, Enscape, Grasshopper, and Rhino is a plusExperience writing specifications is a plus Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures Conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills Licensed / Registered Architect LEED accreditation is a plus Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; If possible, portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview Our annual base salary range has been established based on local markets.
