Architect

Reports to: Architect III / Senior Project Architect Dept: Architecture | Design & Technical Production Location: Royal Oak, MI (hybrid eligible) You will work across multiple project phases on healthcare and commercial work, take on real technical responsibility, and be supported by a senior team that invests in your development. Develop architectural drawings and details across multiple project phases with growing independence, under periodic direction from senior staffPerform code and zoning research (IBC, ADA/ABA, state and local codes); compile, document, and present findings to senior staff with increasing accuracy and depthCoordinate with project team members and consultants on drawing production, model updates, and design issue resolutionParticipate in design team meetings and site visits; begin contributing substantively to technical discussionsAssist with specification sections and product research under senior guidance; develop familiarity with CSI format and spec writing conventionsSupport construction administration tasks, including RFI draft preparation, submittal logging, and punch list documentationProvide guidance to the Architect I team members on production tasks and standards
