Major Responsibilities: Preparation of original architectural designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for buildings.Originate and review architectural 3D model content using RevitPrepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-offs for architectural elements.Demonstrating awareness of the implications of building codes and project requirementsWorking collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documentsParticipate in resolution of technical issues with customers and construction.Participates in a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.Embodies a commitment to external and internal client service.Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experienceUS CitizenRequired Knowledge and Skills: Experienced with architectural design, production techniques, building materials, and construction methods or development of project deliverables.Understands technical issues and costs related to the selection of design features and unique architectural requirements.Familiar with the practices and procedures of NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, IBC, and UFCsSkilled in oral and written communication.Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.Proficient with Autodesk design suite (e.g. Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD) to originate 3D model content and produce design deliverables in a multidisciplinary model environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Sketchup.Experienced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Experience with developing CSI MasterFormat specifications or SpecsIntact preferred.
