Position Description As a Project Architect, you will lead the design and technical delivery of complex, high performance environments for leading commercial and technology clients, including mission critical facilities and innovative workplace and campus projects. Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliveryLead small project teams, reviewing work to maintain standards and provide guidanceTranslate project goals into a clear vision and produce original, engaging solutionsDevelop advanced technical skills, aesthetic awareness, collaboration techniques, and time managementContribute to studio leadership and support team processes, helping other team members grow in technical and career skillsCollaborate with colleagues across disciplines for optimal project outcomesMaintain a broad understanding of the discipline; may be licensed or unlicensedOperate independently with sound judgment while escalating issues as appropriateIndependently prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and BIM models across multiple project phasesLead the development of schematic design and design development concepts in collaboration with project leadershipReview work for compliance with project requirements, building codes, and quality standardsCoordinate architectural scope with engineering consultants and other disciplinesPrepare and review construction documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and constructabilityPerform code analysis and support permitting and regulatory review processesDevelop and refine construction cost estimates in collaboration with project teamsLead construction administration activities on small to medium projects, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and change ordersConduct site observations, prepare field reports, and support resolution of construction issuesReview and mentor junior team members by providing clear direction and constructive feedbackMaintain and develop internal and external client relationshipsSeal and sign permit documents on assigned projectsMay have supervisory responsibilities, including training, assigning and directing work, reviewing performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, addressing complaints, and resolving problemsCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsOther duties as assigned Together, we champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, placing people at the center of our practice, thus our tagline, “design meets you.” Together, we find joy in uncovering imaginative solutions for the people who work here, the people we work for, and the planet as a whole.
