Architect

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview REQUIREMENT- Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen The Architect will play a crucial role in providing expert architectural oversight and support for a variety of federal construction and facility projects based at Fort Hood, Texas. Oversee all architectural aspects of facilities with a detailed and comprehensive approach.Ensure compliance with approved design standards, building codes, and regulations.Regularly assess and review project progress against architectural milestones, providing timely updates.Conduct meticulous reviews of architectural designs, confirming they meet both functional and aesthetic criteria.Offer constructive feedback on design elements, spatial planning, and overall aesthetics.Implement rigorous quality control measures for all architectural components.Engage collaboratively with the project team, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.Facilitate coordination meetings to address architectural concerns, ensuring smooth integration across disciplines.Maintain thorough documentation of design changes, approvals, and any deviations from original plans.Proactively identify and resolve architectural challenges, proposing effective solutions to ensure project continuity.Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.Registered Architect (RA) license is required.A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an architectural role.Experience with the US Army Corps of Engineering (USACE) or federal projects is preferred.Experience managing projects through planning, design, construction documentation, and construction phases is preferred.Ability to review construction submittals and respond to RFIs is preferred.Familiarity with RMS 3.0 and Microsoft Office is preferred.Strong knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, quality control procedures, and architectural design standards is essential.Benefits:
