Who We Are Gesture is a hands-on design studio focused on well-crafted residential, workplace, and hospitality projects. You'll engage in every aspect of the work, from early concept through completion in the field, collaborating closely with our Founder & Principal to translate ideas into clear, well-crafted drawings and built work. Who You Are You're a thoughtful architect with a strong inclination toward organization, collaboration, and craft. Lead with empathy and kindness—listening, mentoring, and building consensus among diverse teams Study the history and methods of the craft, approaching your work with curiosity Enjoy meeting new people (clients, consultants, builders) and forming lasting, authentic relationships Are energized by moving projects forward and find joy in both the creative and technical aspects of architecture Identify and cultivate potential in others through mentorship Communicate clearly and confidently in conversation and presentations Bring structure and clarity to complex projects, naturally following through and finding satisfaction in completion We'd also love to hear what excites you most about the craft of architecture and how your strengths would complement and expand the work we do at Gesture.
