We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Project Architect to join our team on a part-time, contract/project-based basis.

Position OverviewThe Project Architect will support residential and commercial projects from conceptual design through permitting and construction documentation. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who enjoys working on a flexible schedule while collaborating closely with our construction and design team.

Hours are flexible and will vary depending on project workload.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural designs, floor plans, and construction documents.Prepare permit and construction drawing sets.Coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consultants.Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.Communicate with clients, contractors, and local jurisdictions throughout the permitting process.Review project drawings for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.Participate in project meetings and occasional site visits as needed.Support the construction team by responding to RFIs and design-related questions during construction.

QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.Minimum of 3 years of professional architectural experience (preferred).Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction.Experience preparing permit and construction document sets.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Experience with sustainable design principles is a plus.
