With the focus to serve the client and provide superior project delivery, the architecture group works closely with all engineering disciplines and provides technical leadership for the team. Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning, building codes, building materials and systemsContributes to development of discipline scope, deliverables, assumptions, and estimates budget for proposalsEnsures quality and technical accuracy of project deliverablesPrepares and presents design proposals to ClientsVerifies discipline's design is accurate and coordinated within the 3D model and/or site scansDelegates work and supervises Designers on a projectProvides clear direction to team regarding project scope, schedule, budget and expectations of qualityInspecting sites and examining buildings to evaluate conditionsPlans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approvalHas a good working knowledge of Building CodesConsiders other disciplines and overall project requirements during the project lifecycleIdentifies and communicates scope change for disciplineParticipates in interactive planning sessions to ensure scope, schedule, costs and quality are aligned to project objectives BSI lives by the mantra “Serve the client, satisfy the employee” and we hold true to it in all aspects of our company.
