Architect

If you are looking to make a real impact and have 5 plus years of experience in public safety design, then this position is for you! Love to execute project development from concept through construction while working with other committed design professionals.Are seeking to mentor entry level architects, directing them in design, production and overall coordination of the design process and technical documents.Attend project and client meetings with other design professionals for projects under contract.Want to grow into a senior leadership role with the potential for business development.Become the trusted advisor to our established public safety clients and supplement our sales team in the development and securing of new project work.Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations.Attend Interviews, assist in proposal creation, and manage client expectations.Have a proven record of strong technical design and detailing skills.Have a comprehensive understanding of architectural specifications, international building codes, life safety code and ADA requirements.Are self-motivated and can solve problems independently, often working remotely.Have a 4- or 5-year degree in Architecture, or a related field.Have 6 -14 years of working experience in a design firm with strong design, construction document and construction administration experience, 5 plus years’ experience in Fire and/or Police stations.Have knowledge of design and construction programs like Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, SketchUp, Etc.What we offerEmployee-focused company culture and work environment.Work-life balance including:Hybrid work policyFlexible workGreat benefits including:Medical, dental, and vision401k matchPTOLife insuranceHSA and FSA options.Career advancement opportunities with Career and Professional Development.Wellness programs and health stipend.Salary range$80,000 – $115,000 The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
