Position: Architect I Architect I Location: [Confidential Client Location] Compensation: $70,000 - $96,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time License Required: Active Architectural License Required Overview Our client is seeking a licensed Architect I to support the planning, design, and administration of a variety of architectural projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to projects from initial concept through construction completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, design capabilities, and project coordination experience, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to determine project goals, functional requirements, spatial needs, budgets, and timelinesDevelop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions for new construction and renovation projectsIntegrate engineering systems and technical requirements into cohesive project designsPrepare and coordinate construction documents, drawings, specifications, and technical detailsAssist in preparing project estimates, schedules, and contract documentationSupport bidding processes and assist clients during contractor selection and contract award phasesAdminister construction contracts and conduct periodic site observations to ensure compliance with plans and specificationsPrepare project reports, studies, operating manuals, and maintenance documentation as neededUtilize architectural software platforms to develop and coordinate project deliverablesManage project tasks and contribute to successful project delivery from inception through completionCoordinate with BIM staff and consultants throughout project developmentQualificationsBachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited program3-5 years of professional architectural experienceActive Architectural License requiredExperience with project administration, construction administration, and technical/specification writingStrong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and architectural detailingAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Technical Skills Experience with the following software is highly preferred:RevitAutoCADAutoCAD Architectural DesktopSketch UpMicrosoft Office 365 SuiteCore Competencies Successful candidates will demonstrate strengths in the following areas:Architectural design and creative problem solvingProject coordination and time managementClient communication and relationship managementTechnical writing and construction documentationTeam collaboration and cross-functional coordinationOrganization and attention to detailAdaptability and accountabilityBusiness awareness and budget-conscious decision makingPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periodsFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing and computer operationOccasional lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs.Ability to conduct periodic site visits and field observations as requiredWhy Join This Opportunity?
