Overview Architectural leadership that shapes communities. This position performs complex architectural planning, design, and support during construction work throughout the entire duration of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) or Operating Budget projects involved with planning and design of public structures/buildings, parks and recreational facilities, the renovation, restoration, and redesign of all City-related grounds, and space management planning of City related facilities. Responsibilities Lead Complex Project Development: Investigate and resolve challenging architectural issues, develop scope validation and alternatives using data, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate project funding to ensure timely execution. Coordinate Regulatory Clearances and Stakeholder Communication: Secure necessary City, State, and Federal permits and approvals, coordinate with government agencies on land and easement acquisition, and lead public outreach to address project concerns.
