This is not an entry level position and should last 6-9 months. The manager is looking for CISSP (certified information system security professional) or some evidence of strong, foundational knowledge in systems security, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) cybersecurity framework, Windows systems and software, Checkpoint firewalls, Proofpoint email filtering, end-point detection/remediation, and vulnerability management tools. Under the general direction of the Systems Security Manager, the Systems Security Architect s duties include the design, architecture, implementation, and support of the hospital s systems security infrastructure for the SVMHS network and information systems environment. Demonstrated experience in the deployment and management of IT Security technologies such as firewall, VPN, IDS, remote access, authentication, and WiFi. Prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
