Architect - Design Focus

BSA is seeking a design-driven Architect to join our St. Louis studio. In this role, you will take a leading hand in shaping environments that support healing, learning, and discovery. Lead the design process in collaboration with design principals and senior architects, from early concept through documentation.Develop compelling design narratives and visual presentations to communicate ideas to clients and teams.Translate complex programmatic and client needs into innovative, functional, and inspiring design solutions.Oversee the preparation of design documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout while aligning conceptual design objectives with project specific detailing.Coordinate and support the architectural design delivery process across all disciplines ensuring all team members are working in coordination with the project visionParticipate in project reviews and lead design discussions that elevate the quality of work.Balance creativity with project constraints, including scope, budget, and schedule.Mentor emerging designers and share insights around design thinking and project storytelling.Engage in lessons learned reviews to continuously improve design outcomes.
