As an Architect, you will work with other members of the design team in order to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of architectural projects. Duties and Responsibilities • Compiles information from reports and published documents; evaluates and analyzes the information to understand broad requirements of project • Develops architectural designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements • Coordinates design intent with other disciplines • Integrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements • Prepares design reports, drawings and models following office standards • Performs site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contactor to resolve issues in a timely manner • Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls Required Experience • 0-5 years of project work experience • Experience in Education projects is an asset • Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 /annually
