Architect (Full Time)

The Encompass Group is partnering with a growing commercial architecture firm in Cleveland, OH, to identify an experienced Job Captain to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced architectural professional who is looking for more ownership, creative involvement, and room to grow within a collaborative and down-to-earth team. The firm has experienced significant growth and continues to take on exciting commercial projects throughout the region.

As a Job Captain, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day architectural production and coordination of assigned projects. You’ll work closely with the Project Managers and design team to keep projects organized, accurate, and moving forward. Lead the development and coordination of construction documents from design through completion Take ownership of architectural drawing sets and ensure they are accurate, coordinated, and complete Manage day-to-day project deliverables and help keep projects on schedule Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, consultants, and other project team members Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and coordination Produce and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD 3+ years of commercial architecture experience ~ Bachelor of Architecture degree ~ Strong AutoCAD/CAD skills ~ Experience developing construction documents ~ Ability to take ownership of projects and work with minimal oversight ~ Ability to coordinate multiple project priorities and deadlines A growing architecture firm with opportunities for long-term career development
