Architect I

Architect that supports development of design and documentation. Five or more years of experience, an architect who exercises independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques, solves problems when encountered, and receives guidance on complex projects. Demonstrates creativity in design and the ability to adapt design solutions to a variety of building types.Understands and embraces the architectural design approach as established by the Project Leadership and demonstrates the ability to integrate interior design with architecture to create a unified statement.Implements design direction that is cognizant of construction methods and coordination with engineering disciplines.Demonstrates a working knowledge of the conventions of space planning; including proper/legal clearances, awareness of human scale and ergonomics, functional organization and three-dimensional implications of planning.Assists with development of design solutions. Travel to work sites and other offices may be required. May be required to work on a job site.
