The Madison office of SmithGroupis looking for anArchitectural Designer to join our team.
Create and develop planning and design concepts; and support more senior planners and architects on large projects.
Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, renderings specifications and design assignments under general supervision to meet project requirements.
Relate building design concepts to building codes, zoning ordinances and other external issues.
research and propose materials and products.
Assist in construction administration including responding to RFIs, preparing sketches and addendums (CCDs), visit construction sites to gather information and/or prepare punch lists.
A bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
Must be eligible to take the Architectural Registration Examination within a few years.
On-the-job experience using Revit to produce construction documents.
High proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

While we may ultimately pay more or less than a posted salary range, at the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $71,000 to $78,000 annually and you are eligible for a performance-based bonus each year.
