Architect - II

A well-established, privately held architecture and engineering firm in the Southeast is expanding its architecture team and seeking an Architect II to support a variety of projects based in Birmingham, AL. This role is focused on the technical execution and successful delivery of high-quality projects across sectors such as civic, academic, and healthcare. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate within a multi-office architecture team, contributing to and learning best practicesApply strong knowledge of architectural principles across all phases of design and constructionWork effectively within multidisciplinary teams on multiple projects simultaneouslySupport projects of moderate size or contribute to larger, complex buildsParticipate in the full project lifecycle, including scoping, design, and constructionDevelop and detail complete architectural designs, systems, or componentsPrepare comprehensive project documentation, including specifications and manualsUtilize Revit and other design tools to produce high-quality deliverablesAssist in planning and coordinating project tasks, timelines, and deliverablesContribute to project scopes, budgets, and schedulesCommunicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teamsAttend meetings and present project-related updates or design elementsDemonstrate leadership through time management, delegation, and decision-makingQualifications: Travel to project sites may be requiredResponsibilities may evolve based on business needsAbout the Team:
