Architect II

The GMC Architecture Community is growing and has an opening for an Architect II for architectural projects in Columbia, SC. • Ability to design and detail a complete project, system component or process. • Prepares complete project documents including the Project Manual/Specifications • Proficient in Revit Architecture, and complementary design tools. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited architectural program • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience • Registered Architect or completed NCARB Program • Proficient in Revit • Must be able to listen and communicate effectively • Must be a self-starter, team player and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines • Ability to adapt to changing business needs • Ability to use good judgment and make timely decisions Travel requirements: • GMC Architecture is a nationwide practice with clients, completed projects and active projects in 36 states.
