Architect III

This role will focus on modernizing platforms, advancing event-driven architecture, and enabling scalable, secure solutions that align with long-term business objectives. This is a high-impact position requiring both technical depth and the ability to influence across teams, helping shape the future-state architecture while mentoring engineering talent. Establish and promote best practices for event-based systems, ensuring effective communication across platforms and domains. Drive proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead design sessions to validate business and technical solutions. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives (TOGAF certification preferred) Strong expertise in event-driven architecture and enterprise integration patterns Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing technical teams Technical Skills Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred) Proficiency in Python, Java or.NET, and relational databases Strong experience with microservices, APIs, and event-based systems Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and SDLC best practices Experience with prototyping, experimentation, and solution validation Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset Ability to influence decisions and operate as a trusted advisor Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience working within Agile environments, including Agile Release Trains (ART) Capstone Consulting is an EEO employer.
