Architect (Market Leader)

Description: RDG is expanding our College & University market and we’re looking for a market leader with a focus on project management, client relationships and business development to join our team. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the college and university market, a passion for higher education design and the ability to manage teams and projects at a strategic level. Serve as the higher education market leader, establishing and maintaining strong client relationships Oversee project management efforts, ensuring quality, efficiency and strategic alignment with institutional goalsLead business development initiatives, identifying opportunities and collaborating with RDG’s marketing team to pursue new workWork closely with RDG’s College & University team to develop long-term market strategiesMentor and support staff in professional development and project executionRequirements:Possess strong leadership, written and verbal skills to instill confidence and trust in our clients and staffServe as a resource for our team, helping to grow RDG's brand and market shareCritical thinking collaborator with excellent soft skills, relationship and executing strengthsSound design communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated history of building long-term relationships with team members and clientsEducation & Experience 15+ years of architectural experience, including leadership in higher education designStrong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects successfullyEstablished relationships with colleges and universities Entrepreneurial mindset—someone eager to grow RDG’s presence and impact in the marketLicensed architect (or ability to obtain licensure)Location: Madison, Denver, Omaha, St. Louis
