We have exciting opportunities for significant Transportation projects.AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture. With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable, and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.Our Baltimore office boasts national expertise in transit rail and bus rapid transit stations and facilities. Work ranges from early planning and design to the delivery of construction documents and the execution of construction-phase support services.The responsibilities of the Architecture Designer will include, but are not limited to:Performing basicarchitectural/engineeringcalculations.Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables.Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating in an assigned project.May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years in architecture experience covering aspects of building design, including survey, design development, construction documents, construction administration, or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.Must have experience withAutoCAD 2010 (or higher version) and Autodesk Revit 2014 (or higher version).Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on large and complex projects/programs.Excellent technical and relationship-building skills.Strong knowledge of American Disabilities Act/American Barriers Act and the International Building Code.Management experience on BIM projects highly desirable.Additional InformationThis position does not offer relocation assistance.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.Depending on your employment status, AECOM benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time off, leaves of absences, voluntary benefits, perks, flexible work options,well-being resources, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase plan.As a trusted professional services firm powered by deep technical abilities, we solve our clients’ complex challenges in water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings.
