Architectural Nexus is seeking a Job Captain with 3–7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This is an in‑person role requiring collaboration in our Sacramento office. We are looking for a self‑motivated, collaborative professional who thrives in an employee‑owned design firm and is eager to grow with us. Our team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for turning bold ideas into reality. Manage portions of technical aspects of assigned projects Investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions Independently solve issues with minimal guidance Manage select team members to accomplish assigned tasks Report progress on a regular basis back to PM/PA Take ownership of designated areas of project or portions of the work Prepare detailed construction drawings or complete portions thereof Organize project documents, schedules and reports Research and implementation of codes, technical manuals and other pertinent information Oversight of portions of project from start to finish Meet project deadlines and contribute to project coordination and delivery
