Architect - Senior

Your Role

As a Senior Architect with Gensler's team in Raleigh you will design and deliver some of the most complex and impactful buildings in the region. You will bring together design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking to deliver architecture that is both deeply functional and experientially rich. You will work within a highly collaborative, client-focused culture that values design quality, resilience, and social purpose.

What You Will Do
Oversee major projects, shaping design direction, developing client relationships, and ensuring firm-wide excellence in project delivery and technical standards.Lead multiple large-scale, complex projects from conceptual design through construction administrationOversee quality assurance processes, design excellence, and technical rigor across teamsBuild, strengthen, and manage key client relationshipsDirect consultant coordination, project staffing, scheduling, and project financial performanceSupport Project Managers and project teammates; ensure projects meet contractual obligationsResolve advanced technical issues and ensure constructible, code-compliant solutionsRepresent the firm in stakeholder meetings, regulatory reviews, and public presentationsMentor emerging leaders; contribute to firm strategy, culture, and thought leadership

Your Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited programRegistered / licensed Architect15+ years of relevant experience delivering complex buildings across all phases within a commercial design firm,Proven expertise in project leadership, client management, and technical designStrong business acumen, communication, and team leadership skillsMastery of Revit and advanced understanding of integrated building systemsPassion for design excellence and continuous learningDemonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices in specific work samples. LEED Accreditation or WELL AP preferred.
