Architect & Support Roles

WHN Architects is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect & Drafter to support the design, planning, and documentation of commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in architectural design concepts, technical drafting, building codes, and construction documentation, and will work closely other architects, project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate, high-quality plans. A small firm is the place to be exposed to all facets of the architectural process. Develop conceptual and schematic building designs based on client requirements and project goals.Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D renderings, and presentation materials.Conduct site assessments, zoning research, and feasibility studies.Collaborate with clients to refine design solutions and ensure project alignment. Produce detailed construction drawings, including plans, details, schedules, and specifications.Update and revise drawings based on design changes, field conditions, or engineer input.Create technical documentation compliant with local, state, and national building codes.Maintain organized drawing sets and manage version control throughout the design process.
