Job Title: Architect/Engineer - Fast Track Recruitment, GS-0810-12 The primary purpose of this exciting position is to provide both supervisory (less than 25%) and technical assistance to the Base Architect/Engineer in effectively managing the engineering shops and the production control function. Assign tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and training of staff to meet both organizational and customer needs.Lead the preparation of engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and independent cost estimates for a diverse range of military buildings and utilities systems. Provide vital management, engineering, and support work that ensures projects are completed successfully.Make decisions with the Air National Guard Base policies in mind, regarding new construction priorities, acceptance of completed work, and facility management strategies.
