Architect/Project Designer - Education

Design has the ability to empower ideas and connect people. Our Education Studio is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Designer/Architect who’s ready to get hands‑on across a range of project types and scales. In this role, you’ll move between fast‑paced improvement projects and larger, more complex capital work for public and private institutions. What you’ll be doing: No two days are exactly the same, but you can count on a few constants. Including: Working closely with studio leaders and project teams to shape projects from concept through construction, contributing to design direction while aligning scope, schedule, and budget aligned at each phase Serving as the client’s primary point of contact, leading coordination calls, tracking action items, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders Coordinating consultants across disciplines to align systems, resolve conflicts, and keep projects moving smoothly Executing the approved concept, reliably translating the design intent into Revit utilizing our firm standards About you: A great match for our team is someone who has: Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an NAAB‑accredited institution 0‑4 years professional experience Proficiency in Revit Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365 A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner The willingness to travel, as there will be limited travel required Why Baskervill?
