Position Description
Summary of Representative Duties and Responsibilities
Primary focus will be managing the construction process for two new chambers in the Robert W. Kastenmeier U.S. Courthouse recently awarded for design.
Duties include managing the outside AE, review of constructions submittals, assisting with coordination with all agencies, and keeping the project on track.
Assist with any or all needs for these new chambers in Madison, Wisconsin, such as furniture layout and acquisition plans.
Create and present concept designs for the public, judges, and staff.
Manage space and facilities projects from start to finish.
Act as liaison with other courts, government agencies, General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Marshal Service, third parties, and contractors.
Ensure court policies are followed.
Assisting with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and/or Educational Requirements
Relevant bachelor’s degree, licensure preferred.
Significant experience in design, construction, and high-level finish detailing, fifteen years preferred.
Proactive problem solver and consummate team player.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to manage multiple projects at one time.
Excellent writing and analytical skills.
Experience using CAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Sketch- Up and Blue Beam
