Architect/Senior Design Lead

Architect/Senior Design Lead Licensed architect with exceptional design and leadership skills to join our firm on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the creative direction, design development, and technical execution of projects, working in collaboration with firm leadership as a design leader with the potential to advance into a principal design role. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Salary Range $75K - $110K Responsibilities: Lead and participate in all phases of design-from concept and schematic design through construction administration.Develop design concepts, presentations, renderings, and visual materials for client and stakeholder engagement.Oversee & coordinate the production of detailed construction documents to ensure consistency w/design intent & technical accuracy.Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to achieve integrated design solutions.Conduct site observations, review submittals, respond to RFIs, and participate in construction administration.Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the studio.Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.Deep understanding of construction materials, detailing, and building systemsProven ability to lead collaborative design processes and manage client relationships effectivelyStrong written, verbal, and visual communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to balance multiple projectsPassion for thoughtful, well-crafted design and a commitment to advancing architectural quality
