Architect/Senior Designer

What sets this role apart from our Designer position is depth: you'll take the lead on projects with real structural complexity, drawing on a strong understanding of planning, building systems, and code requirements to guide design decisions that go beyond standard kitchen and bath work. Extensive kitchen and bathroom design experienceDeep understanding of NKBA design guidelinesWorking knowledge of California Building Codes and Title 24 requirementsWell-developed aesthetic sense for helping clients select finishes for their projectsBasic understanding of construction practices for kitchens and bathroomsStrong knowledge of residential design principles and construction processesExperience creating detailed drawings and specificationsAbility to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and contractorsKnowledge of building codes and regulationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsBachelor's degree in a related field such as design or architectureStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlinesMust be able to read and execute plans To ensure an efficient hiring process, we kindly ask that you do not call the office regarding your application status.
