**Overview:** Flad Architects is seeking talented Spring 2026 graduates to join our team as Architectural Associates. Our firm is committed to helping new graduates transition into the design world and offers a supportive environment, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and development. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare presentation materials, including conceptual drawings, 3D renderings, and digital 3D and physical models * Develop and modify design and technical solutions throughout all phases of a project * Contribute to design discussions, idea generation, and design work in drawing, model, and 3D image formats * Work closely with team members to complete projects on aggressive schedules, meeting deadlines and budget constraints * Generate revisions and corrections from outline mock-ups, redlined drawings, and project documents * Attend client meetings to observe process and develop presentation skills * Participate in construction site visits to understand the process * Recognize conflicts that arise during construction and offer alternatives to resolve these issues **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture required * NAAB accredited professional degree or Master's degree in architecture preferred * Sustainability accreditation preferred * Previous internship experience preferred * Relevant architectural experience in one of Flad's market segments preferred * Proficiency in Rhino or SketchUp and 3D rendering software required * Beginner Revit knowledge required; at least one year recent Revit experience in an academic or professional setting * Portfolio that demonstrates a high level of skill in design thinking and presentation media required **Benefits:** * Hybrid work environment * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Generous paid time off and paid holidays * Financial health and wellness benefits, including retirement savings plan, fiduciary advisor, identity theft plan, Section 125 flexible benefits, income protection - life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Continuing education and career development, including internal programs, funds set aside for external programs, licensure and sustainability support, annual professional registration and organization reimbursement
