Architectural Associate

About the position

The architectural associate position is responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of all phases of construction drawings. This is accomplished through leadership, creation/development/maintenance, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

Create foundational trust based on the highest integrity and the dignity of every personAssist in leading the project design process with in-house architects / engineersAssist in leading the design-build team to prepare complete and accurate proposalsOversee and manage design staff as needed to complete your projectCommunicate clearly and affectively to supervisor and design staffDevelop and manage drawings from preliminary to for construction levelSuccessfully manage an integrated and collaborative BIM workflow as outlined by the Design ManagerEnsure quality is properly maintained on each projectActively participate in policy and procedure developmentWork in conjunction with management to prepare personnel forecast to project employment needsDemonstrate the ability to manage company risk while creating drawingsWhen preparing a proposal set of drawings stay in close communication with your supervisor to ensure budgets are metProvide input to team members and supervisors in the interest of optimizing departmental operating costsRequirements

An architectural degree or similar degreeThe ability to operate a computer, computer networks, common software and communication devices.The ability to demonstrate a high level of technical skill in the field of architectureThe ability to communicate at a high level, both receiving and disseminating information for clear understandingThe ability to understand broad direction and then formulate and execute detailed complex plans to meet that directionThe ability to make complex judgments in the interest of the company and employeesCan demonstrate and be considered a leader in company valuesNice-to-haves
