Associate/Architectural Designer 1 Pickard Chilton Architects, Inc. has an opening for an Associate/Architectural Designer 1 in New Haven, CT. Duties include generating design concepts and plans at a variety of scales, taking ownership of elements of design, being responsible for components of the coordination process with consultants, creating renderings and visuals for project presentations, presenting work generated by the team to clients and consultants, working on drawing sets, staying involved in the construction process and site visits, and supporting studio operations and research initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field, or foreign equivalent. Requires 2 years of experience in Architecture or related field, 2 years of experience in architectural and graphic design, 2 years of experience in proposing design solutions and adding design critique, and 2 years of experience with Rhino, Revit, CAD, and Adobe Suite. Must hold a professional architectural license or be willing to work under supervision of a licensed architect.
Salary range of $70,000-$82,000 per year. Standard company benefits.
