Architectural BIM Technician

Role Description The BIM Technician will assist in creating detailed 3D Building Information Models (BIM), produce construction documents, drawings, models and support the design and coordination of building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and structural elements. The role involves close collaboration with the design team to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals, contributing to a variety of projects across diverse market sectors. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with Revit expertise and a strong understanding of architectural documentation standards. Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, workflows and best practicesExperience with multi-disciplinary Revit coordinationFamiliarity with AutoCAD and BluebeamExperience creating or modifying Revit familiesUnderstanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systemsExperience with Construction Drawings, including technical detailingKnowledge of Building Services and Structural Engineering principlesStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesDegree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferredFamiliarity with architectural industry standards and codes applicable to architecture and engineering
