Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural BIM Technician located in Tulsa, OK. The BIM Technician will assist in creating detailed 3D Building Information Models (BIM), produce construction documents, drawings, models and support the design and coordination of building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and structural elements. The role involves close collaboration with the design team to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals, contributing to a variety of projects across diverse market sectors.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with Revit expertise and a strong understanding of architectural documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using Autodesk RevitCreate and manage Revit models including views, sheets, families, and schedulesImplement firm standards for Revit modeling, documentation, and file organizationCoordinate drawing sets with architects, consultants, and internal team membersAssist with design development, construction documents, and revisionsUpdate drawings based on red lines, markups, and client or authority commentsPerform basic clash detection and assist with model coordinationPrepare permit and bid document setsSupport construction administration with drawing updates and clarificationsMaintain accurate and organized project files
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred3+ years of professional architectural drafting experienceAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk RevitStrong understanding of architectural drawings, construction documents, and building systemsWorking knowledge of building codes and standardsAbility to interpret design with intent and translate it into accurate drawingsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracySelf-driven organizational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, workflows and best practicesExperience with multi-disciplinary Revit coordinationFamiliarity with AutoCAD and BluebeamExperience creating or modifying Revit familiesUnderstanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systemsExperience with Construction Drawings, including technical detailingKnowledge of Building Services and Structural Engineering principlesStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesDegree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferredFamiliarity with architectural industry standards and codes applicable to architecture and engineering
