Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire design teams in the conceptualization and development of commercial and retail projects. Develop unique and effective design solutions that align with client brand identity and business objectives. Oversee the creation of detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and specifications. Ensure design coherence and quality across all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration. Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, contractors, and consultants. Review and approve construction submittals, respond to RFIs, and conduct site visits. Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and local regulations in **Salt Lake City**. Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets efficiently. Stay current with emerging trends in retail design, experiential design, and commercial architecture. Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team. Requirements Master of Architecture degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on commercial and retail spaces. Registered Architect (RA) license in Utah or the ability to obtain it quickly is required. Expertise in commercial and retail design principles, including spatial planning, material selection, and lighting design. Proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and visualization tools (e.g., 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape). Proven track record of leading design teams and successfully delivering complex projects. Excellent client presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong understanding of brand integration and customer experience design.
