This role is open to candidates throughout the United States, with a preference for applicants near a Jacobs office, but our priority is finding the best talent available.

As an Architectural Design Specialist, you will become part of a committed team providing award-winning planning, engineering, and architectural design services. Your role includes designing a variety of building types primarily using Revit. You will plan and program project layouts while ensuring a cohesive integration of all design elements for client evaluations and approvals.

You may lead and oversee the preparation of drawings and specification documents during the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and Detailed Design Phase of projects. Note that your design work will require review and approval by a Registered Architect. Some travel to construction sites is to be expected.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experienceBachelor's Degree in ArchitectureProficiency in Revit, basic rendering and publishing software, and Microsoft Office suiteAble to effectively collaborate with internal architectural and engineering teamsCapable of working independently when presented with specific instructionsPreferred Qualifications

Registered Architect (RA) or actively pursuing licensureSome experience in Project ManagementEngagement in professional organizations; Master’s Degree in ArchitectureCompensation

The salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $125,600.00. Individual pay will vary based on location, skills, experience, and education.
