Architectural Designer

• Consult Design schemes with customers and Senior Management; • Ability to manage time and workload in order to meet project deadlines and commitments with periodic interaction and direction from project leaders; • Liaise with city/county authorities and related organizations, promptly following through with planning submissions, correction discussions, resubmissions, and permit submissions; • Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques; • Travel as required and support the design department or construction site with all other responsibilities; • Support marketing department with project-related work; • Other Duties as assigned; Qualifications: • A U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related Design field is (Required) • At least 2-year U.S. architectural drafter-related work experience is (Required) • At least 1-2 years of City Permit Submissions. (Required) • Able to communicate with Chinese (Required) • Project Management Skills (Preferred) • General knowledge of U.S. architectural practice, including site planning, civil, and codes, is (Required) • Familiarity with ADU Building Codes and City Code Requirements.
