Core Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility outside core hours)

Compensation Range: $60,000 – $120,000

Overview / Job Description

A well‑established architecture and design firm is seeking an experienced Architect with 8+ years of industry experience to lead architectural design and project execution efforts. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with clients and consultants, and delivering high‑quality, compliant design solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

Projects span educational, municipal, state, federal, financial, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading projects from concept through construction administration and is interested in mentoring junior architects in a collaborative, smaller‑firm environment.

An active architectural license is strongly preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage 3–10 architectural projects simultaneously from initial concept through construction administration
Develop and present design concepts that align with client goals, budgets, and schedules
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and applicable standards
Oversee project documentation, schedules, and quality control
Foster strong client relationships through clear communication and effective project management
Mentor and support AITs and junior architects

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm
Accredited professional degree in Architecture
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience leading architectural design projects and managing timelines and budgets
Strong presentation and client‑facing communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Willingness to mentor and support junior team members

Plusses

Architectural license
Third‑party sustainability experience or accreditation
Experience working in a smaller or mid‑sized firm environment
