The ideal candidate has deep expertise in South Florida building codes—specifically Miami-Dade's strict wind and structural requirements—and can seamlessly manage projects from conceptual design through permitting and construction. Key Responsibilities Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design process for high-end custom homes, investor specs, and major residential renovations from concept to final construction documents.Code Compliance & Permitting: Ensure all plans strictly comply with the Florida Building Code, local municipal regulations, and High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) standards. Sign, seal, and submit architectural plans for permitting.Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our Project Manager, structural engineers, and on-site construction managers to ensure designs are practical, budgeted accurately, and executed flawlessly in the field.Site Evaluation & Administration: Conduct regular site visits across Miami, South Florida, and West Palm Beach to evaluate lots, monitor construction progress, and resolve any design-related field issues quickly.Client Relations: Consult directly with high-end clients and investor partners to understand their vision, present design concepts, and guide them through structural and aesthetic selections.
