The firm has offices in Los Angeles and Northern California, with an active and growing project pipeline. We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer to join this collaborative team in their Los Angeles studio. The ideal candidate has a strong command of interior architecture. Lead concept development and schematic design across all project typesCollaborate on the production of construction document sets across all project phases from design development through permit submission and construction administrationCoordinate across all consultant disciplines and serve as a point of contact for contractors and consultants during the documentation and construction phasesDevelop interior architecture across spatial relationships, millwork and cabinetry packages, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, finish and material schedules, and lighting detailsConduct site visits to verify construction progress against drawings and design intentCollaborate directly with the founding partners on design development decisionsNavigate the permitting process, plan check responses, and code compliance across residential project typesContribute to a studio culture that takes design seriously Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or Interior Architecture3-5 years of professional experience in architecture or architectural interior designUnderstanding of building systems, construction methods, and materialsKnowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standardsDemonstrated experience contributing to construction document setsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid understanding of interior architecture (millwork, finish details, RCPs, lighting, and material coordination)Single-family residential project experience, ideally custom or luxury homesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative teamExperience with wildfire rebuild projects or fire-resistant construction a notable plus
