Vance Stein Architecture & Interiors is seeking an Architectural Designer who will join us as we grow and expand our practice across multiple sectors. Our mission is to listen to our clients and create timeless designs that are an integral part of their communities. We are a fun, collaborative office in Beverly, MA. RESPONSIBILITIES

Working collaboratively with VS Principals and Project Managers, serve as an Architectural Designer and drafter for projects ranging in size and type, with a focus on multi-family, commercial, institutional and high-end residential work.Prepare schematic design, design development and construction document drawingsCode researchGraphic presentationsField measuring

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Skills

Strong design sense and familiarity with all phases of designProficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad and SketchUp experience beneficialExcellent organization, attention-to-detail, and oral/written communication skillsFamiliarity with drawing and coordinating permit and construction documentsFlexibility in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlinesCreative problem-solvingStrong relationship and interpersonal skillsBe a strong team player who is genuinely able to work collaboratively. Have well-developed strategic and critical thinking abilities. Engage in design studies, digital modeling, product, and material research.

Experience & Education

1-5 years of architectural work experienceHigh-end residential, Multi-family and institutional design experience preferredBachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree
